Life | #DublinBloggerMeet & Lush Emotional Brilliance Range

Blogger meetup irish lush benefit makeup beauty lunch shopping

After the last blogger meetup which you can read about here, I was so excited to go to this one and meet even more Irish Bloggers/Vloggers. We all met at the GPO between 12 o'clock, I was late (thanks again Dublin Bus...) but got there before 1 so it was fine. Sarah organised the whole day which was so good of her and she did an amazing job. She made us all little pink goodie bags with our names on them, how cute is she!

We first went to Lush to learn a little about their new line "Emotional Brilliance" and got our colour readings done. You can read all about the range on Sarahs Blog here but basically, the range is designed for you! No trend following, just what suits you. We each closed our eyes, spun the wheel and picked out three colours that stood out. These three colours represent our Strength, Subconscious Mind and Talent. My results were Believe, Feeling Secure & Success. I was pretty skeptical but I think they are accurate enough. Cream Eyeshadow, Liquid Lipstick, Liquid Eyeliner and Mascara are all included in the range with so many colours to choose from, you can pretty much use them how you like. I want to say a huge thank you to sneaky Lush; We were asked as part of a survey which colour was our favourite. Then they came out with bags for each of us containing our favourite colour and a mascara to try. I tried the Mascara later that night as a touch up and I loved how it looked.

We then moved along to Arnotts, where we met the lovely Gemma in Benefit. She did Alycia's makeup and talked us through Prep, Prime and Perfect, explaining the products and passing them around so we could all have a look. She used Triple Performing Emulsion to prep the skin, Porefessional to Prime and lastly Hello Flawless Oxygen WOW Foundation. Porefessional and Hello Flawless have been on my wishlist for a while now and I think she convinced me to purchase. Gemma then moved on to show us some new products! She talked to us about the box o’powder glosses that match the box o'powder blushers (they aren't sticky so no hair in gloss moments), See and Be Seen Sasha scent and finally Mr. Perk Up Concealer with 3 cream to powder correctors.

After all that information, we decided to go for lunch in The Church Bar. It was really nice to sit down and get to talk to everyone properly. Afterwards, we went to Jervis centre and browsed around Boots, Forever21 & of course Inglot. By that stage, people had started to leave so the rest of us went to The Porter House for a drink before heading home. I had such an amazing day, it was so lovely to meet some new vloggers/bloggers, huge thank you again to Sarah, all the lovely people at Lush & Gemma from Benefit. Can't wait for the next one!

Also the lovely Sarah is running the Killarney Women's Mini Marathon for Barnardos, a charity which looks after children, read all about it here and sponsor her to help her reach her goal!!
